The most commonly produced cover width is 36 inches, requiring a minimum 1" thickness of rigid roofing insulation. B Deck can span up to 10 feet and is available in 40 KSI and 50 KSI material strength variants, with gauges of 22, 20, 18, & 16. Options include nested or interlocked side laps and rolled-in hanger tabs, and it is UL approved.
N Deck
Designed as a deep wide rib (3" tall) structural metal roof deck section, N Deck supports economical roofing surfaces over longer spans between supports. It is ideal for applications requiring wide spacing of support members, offering longer clear spans and greater resistance to heavy roof loads compared to B Deck. Commonly used in large spaces like gymnasiums, N Deck also functions as a secondary structural diaphragm member for lateral force distribution. Available in a 24" cover width and in 40 KSI and 50 KSI material strength variants, N Deck is also UL approved.
